My opinion about Pappy's is I've been coming to Pappy's off of 252 coming from Minneapolis and they're right there on the way to my home I'm not going to ever say their food is bad, I do believe that yes they're chicken wings are crack wings and they charge way too much for those little crack wings. I've had their sandwiches not at the Brooklyn Center location but I've had a steak sandwich at the one in North Minneapolis if I was going to eat from Pappy's again I would rather go to the one in North Minneapolis or the one in St Paul on White Bear Lake my complain about this place is one time I came in with my sister-in-law couple years ago she's from Chicago she ordered some wings asked for n...
Pappy's may not have a typical atmosphere, but that's not their focus. I enjoy Pappy's because it's the only place I know that serves chicken gizzards. The catfish has a great breading with a hint of lemon seasoning that I love. The fries also have the same seasoning, but they are a bit too big and not very crispy. If you order the gizzard and catfish combo and pair it with Checkers fries from the other end of the building, you won't find a better fast food combo.
The person taking your order is Always Very polite! He did touch his nose and didn't wash his hands. The food is Usually Very good but this time it was over cooked and Not the best. They weren't busy at all so I didn't see a need to rush with making my order! I'll come back again in the futureFood: 4/5
The food at this restaurant is usually delicious, but the cashier, an older gentleman with messy hair and dirty clothes, can be difficult to deal with. The food at this restaurant is amazing! I absolutely love their burgers. I tried ordering for delivery once through DoorDash, but unfortunately there was no available driver to pick up from that store, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
