Hermosa location has gotten worse and worse w customer service AND overall product. I've been coming here 7+years, since b4 my youngest was born, and many of the workers knew my first name and knew my order without me having to actually say it. Now each of my kids gets there own bowl. Unfortunately, it really depends on who is working and who truly knows and cares about what they are serving in order for customers to get wait they paid for. For my young kids to know and complain that their order lacks flavor and asking why there were chunks of ice is unacceptable. This is my favorite place to get smoothie bowls in California. To say they are perfect is an understatement. The fruit is incredibly fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and me. (As shown in the pictures below, I have been 3+ times, which speaks to how good they are). My go-to bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, with perfectly curated ingredients that complement each other well. The menu is extensive and offers more than just smoothie bowls. Prices are affordable, with a small size costing around $10. Despite the small label, the portion size is still generous. The service is efficient, with bowls coming out quickly....
I really enjoy Paradise Bowls. I have had some bad Acai bowls in the past, but this little shop does it right. My two favorite items on the menu are the Peach Bum and the Coconut Breeze, but everything looks delicious. They offer Acai bowls, pitaya bowls, and smoothies. Although there is only one person working behind the register, they are quick. There is limited seating, so you may need to take your order to go. This is not a problem though, as you are just a few feet away from the beach where you can enjoy your bowl with a beautiful view. I definitely recommend Paradise Bowls.
Missing Paradise. Oh my goodness, I'm really spoiled. I visited back in May 2023 and had a bowl almost every day during my vacation. After returning home to Breckenridge, CO, the smoothie bowls just didn't measure up. Now that I've moved to the Cape Ann area of Massachusetts, I'm still searching for that perfect bowl and haven't found anything great yet. It's such a disappointment. There's definitely an opportunity for expansion on the East Coast, perhaps in Gloucester or Rockport. I love the medium Guacho, Guava Sunrise, or Razz Party. Thank you for setting the standard so high!

This restaurant is too slow. I don't understand why they need to mix the Acai shell. They should just grind it and serve people faster. However, the friendly girls working there are a highlight. They take their time to make every dish with care and we enjoyed chatting with them. I don't like when acai is too overwhelming. If I order a small portion, please don't give me more than I asked for. I want the size I ordered for the amount of food I want to eat. Thank you!
I typically enjoy this restaurant, but I was disappointed this morning when I arrived at 8am (when they open) to buy a bowl and found that it was unexpectedly closed. There were 2-3 other customers waiting as well, but no staff showed up. After waiting for 10 minutes, we all left. I am unsure if I will return to this place in the future.
One of the best pitaya bowls I've had, although I would have enjoyed some papaya fruit or something else a little more exotic in there. 4 stars only because the service was a bit meh, the staff being largely disinterested. There is no real room to eat in here, but the beach is just steps away.
The acai bowls were delicious and quite filling! However, I would have liked to see some nut butter added to make them even more satisfying. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant!

My daughter ordered the Acai bowl and it was a fantastic choice. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and the portion size was very satisfying.
I waited 35 minutes after mobile ordering to receive my small açaí bowl.
