We did not eat in the restaurant and maybe that is better, although the food we ordered did come from elsewhere so I suspect the same place and it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the mixed salad which was meant to come with tuna and when I told them it was not there they said nothing and just went back to the kitchen and brought a bowl of tuna no bread, no nothing and definitely no service! They did have a couple of communions on that day and clearly they were understaffed and stressed but not an excuse. Would definitely not recommend this place based on that experience! On a positive note the views are nice but again not enough outdoor seating to enjoy them probably due to the communions
Parador de Antequera was exceptionally refreshing. The accomodations and cuisine far exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious w/ excellent wi-fi. The bed was VERY comfortable and the furnishings were soothing and up-to-date/well maintained. The scenic view of the lawn, pool and mountains from our window was so lovely. The breakfast and dinners were absolutely fresh and delicious. The serving staff operated w/ such smoothness that never was a conversation interrupted. We just loved the entire experience from check-in to check-out.
Passing through Antequera so needed accommodation for 1 night. A modern hotel with excellent room- really comfortable bed spacious room and first class bathroom facilities. Ample free safe car parking and the hotel is well situated within short walk of the town. Fine size outdoor swimming pool although it was a tad early in the season and weather was ‘challenging’ so we admired from a distance ! Would recommend highly.
