A very professional, welcoming and friendly restaurant. This location was chosen for a Christmas meal with work and no-one attending were disappointed with the experience. Fast, efficient service, well mannered learners (in training) who were attentive to every need, beautifully presented, hot and very tasty food all topped off with a very festive feel. This is a training establishment and students manage the restaurant. While some people might find this concerning it is the most professional and attentive working restaurant I've had the pleasure of eating in for a very long time.
Christmas lunch with friends at parcs today was a treat, cooked by the students, all the food is fresh produce no freezer to oven food in this establishment, so refreshing to eat food that has all been cooked from scratch. served by the students. 30 years after moving to Peterborough………..Attended a special “casino” evening with U3A group, some thirty or so people and many other people. The restaurant was busy, the service was very good, the food was delicious and inventive, the ambience was warming. I am definitely going again. These students, after a hard day of lectures, tutorials or whatever, worked their socks off to produce excellent results and so many happy and satisfied customers …..wonderful. I was impressed.
After a hiatus of 20 months due to the pandemic, we were thrilled to return to this restaurant. We received a warm welcome and felt very well taken care of. The three-course meal, followed by coffee, was delicious from start to finish. The price of £30 even included a generous glass of high-quality wine, making it an incredible value for a fine dining experience. We are eagerly anticipating our Christmas lunch in December!

The food at this restaurant is prepared and served by college students, who are skillfully trained by their instructors in hospitality. The hostess always greets us warmly and ensures we have a pleasant dining experience. We consistently opt for the three-course meal deal and highly recommend others to try the delicious food here. Our department makes it a point to visit a few times each year. Come and give it a try!
A group of 26 enjoyed Christmas lunch on Monday. Good selection of choices on the menu. Every dish was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Hot plates for the main course always appreciated. No complaints just praise for the delicious food. The young serving staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and contributed to a great dining experience and a happy festive ambience.
This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was very impressed. The food was tasty, well cooked and there was plenty of it. The pork Wellington was tender and the smoked mackerel starter was very tasty smoked on site. The service from the students was very good it was attentive but not overbearing. £11 for a 3 course meal is excellent value. I thoroughly recommend a visit.
...just be prepared to be flexible! If you can do that, you can enjoy a satisfying three-course lunch for under £10. The restaurant's hours are limited to term-time weekday lunches and Thursday evening specials. It's good value for money, falling somewhere between 3 and 4 stars (we wish we could give it a 3+!).

We had a party of 12 for Christmas lunch and it was excellent! 3 courses, beautifully prepared and presented. The team at Parcs Restaurant and the young people learning their art are all sensational. The food and the service was tremendous. Great value and highly recommended!
The trainees at the Parcs excelled themselves, food was really good and delivered by friendly and well trained students. Would recommend for a group meal any time. A;lso great value.
