Paris Baguette - Reservar una mesa

Sometimes, this place makes mistakes when I place a large order, but the staff is always quick to rectify them. It only takes one ask, and they fix whatever they did incorrectly the first time. This, combined with delicious soft cheese cakes, and gorgeous regular cakes makes this Paris Baguette deserving of five stars . One great thing about cakes here is that they are not too sweet, like the ones you'd get at a grocery store. These have the perfect amount of sugar. Also, their frosting is always delicious, not full of butter substitutes like the usual cakes you can find elsewhere.

Seven years ago when I first moved to Silicon Valley, Paris Baguette bakeries were my favorite. Nowadays, they can be found in big cities like Palo Alto or in nearby areas such as the one in Mountain View. Unfortunately, the mini hot dog sandwich I tried was cold and not very fresh tasting. However, there is a better and more popular bakery near Castro that I would recommend instead. Just offering an alternative option for those considering this venue. Just to clarify, I am not affiliated with this cafe in any way.

We have been to this restaurant twice now and both times we paid for two tiramisu desserts but were only charged for one. When I called to request a refund, they admitted they made a mistake and promised to refund me. However, it has been two weeks and I have not received anything. I recommend avoiding this place to prevent this situation from happening to others. Very disappointing.

The mochi donuts at this restaurant are absolutely addictive. My favorite was the simply sugared one, although I wasn't a fan of the raspberry frosted. The sweet potato pastry was delightful - buttery and crispy. The krab croquette was just okay in my opinion.

There isn't much French influence at this restaurant. The cake tastes mainly of sugar with a hint of other flavors. I tried to order a macchiato, but they didn't have any. Overall, it is a better option than Dieucks.
