Paris Go Bistro - Reserva de mesa

I ate here a few years ago but went again with my partner tonight. The decor has been cleaned up a fair bit and it was open and airy - a good atmosphere for dinner. The wait staff were attentive and polite, so that was a bonus. The meals came out promptly and we didn't have to wait to be served, get drinks or pay the bill.The meal itself, however, was very generic. I mean, it wasn't bad but it also wasn't amazing. There was no wow factor in anything we ate and, to be honest, I'm pretty sure I could have cooked better dishes myself at home. We pass by this bistro many times but never really took notice of it until one day we stopped and read the menu and decided it is worth a try. The Tasmanian oysters were good , sweet and left a good after taste. Our entrees were chicken liver pate, duck skanks and escargots on portobello mushroom. All were good and of high quality. The main of eye fillet, porterhouse and lamb fillet were fantastic and have to be the best steak we had for awhile in this area including Lygon St. The pear tart really blowed us away and my son decided to switch his ice cream with my wife's pear tart! I may only come here once a year, but I remember it for the next 12 months. The host Gabriel is always patient with Mr Know-it-all who comes with me, and prepares an excellent variety of things that even impress the pickiest among our company. Today I had the stuffed capsicum and the grilled Barramundi with scallops. Ms Picky had the vegetable tart, while the others tried the Seafood Bisque, the barramundi, and the Pate. We brought the best from our own cellars and had a languid lunch. It is usually very quiet at lunch and we had a long chat with Gabriel. In the evenings he is stuck in the kitchen himself.

$197 for 3 people, entree and main with two sides and a bottle of wine. The food was fantastic we all enjoyed the food. The waiter was very humorous and efficient. Great night out. We would go back. Reserva una mesa ahora

The atmosphere was great and the meals we all ordered were delicious. Not sure about the service had to ask 3 different waiters for wine list before we got it.

Ever since my vacation to Alaska where I went on a luxury cruise ship I have been wanting to go to a decent French restaurant as on the ship they had one

First visit to this restaurant. Average menu and service for those prices on Bastille Day. Not very helpful with the choice of wine for the ordered food.

Brilliant meal, great service mixed in with a very relaxed atmosphere = wonderful French experience. We went as a party of 4 and all of us had a great Reserva una mesa ahora

Fabulous food. Loved the plates! Very good service. Great night meeting old friends who we hadn't seen for years.
