Note that this review is for this spot solely as a business breakfast location. Is the food amazing? No, it's solidly average. Would I come here with my girlfriends for a fun brunch? Absolutely not. But the tables are eloquently dressed and equipped with all your traditional eating instruments for a proper meal. The tables are far enough away from each other that you have privacy and the floors are carpeted so the acoustics lend themselves to comfortable conversation. Lastly, the servers are attentive, keep your coffee cup full, but also give you enough space to get business done. My top choice for business breakfasts for several years and counting.
I had a morning doctor's appointment nearby and decided to try this restaurant after finding it on Yelp. I ordered a Mango Lassi to drink and the Corned Beef Hash for my main dish. The lassi was delicious, but the Corned Beef Hash was a bit of a challenge to finish. The corned beef was overly shredded and included large chunks of beef fat. The poached eggs on top were tasty, but the additional fat was unnecessary. The restaurant had a modern atmosphere and there were several groups of conference attendees dining there. In hindsight, I probably should have tried the buffet instead. The total bill came out to $34.
I recently dined at this hotel restaurant, and it was truly exceptional! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the service was outstanding. Our server, Maria, was attentive and helpful, while her assistant, Balthazar, was exceptionally kind and wonderful. Even if you are not staying at Le Meridian hotel, I highly recommend making a trip to try out their amazing breakfast and experience their top-notch service.
Don't waste your time or money for Brunch. The Benedict was good, but was totally textbook. A 10 year old could have made the same thing from a junior cookbook. The corned beef hash was not edible. Be careful—they offer you coffee, water, or juice as you sit down, but without telling you the juice is $8.

The American Breakfast includes the basics at a reasonably price. The smoked salmon was excellent. They serve Illy Coffee which is my favorite! Quiet and private a good place for business meetings.
Food was fine, we had breakfast. Service was a bit slow, there were only 3 table sat and it took 15 minutes to be greeted. Prices are quite high for what you get but you are in a hotel.
Came here for lunch with coworkers. The food is good and atmosphere and service the best especially for lunch. Go there you won't be disappointed.
The staff at the restaurant in Le Meridien were all friendly and provided good service, but Maria, our server for three days, was exceptional.

Wonderful place for breakfast even if you live in San Francisco , like me. Great food and the service was lovely.
