Our table was not set before or after they seated us, the waitress was very forgetful on bringing items we requested (eating utensils, mustard, appetizer). We received our meals before we received utensils to eat with, so our fried seafood cooled off quite a bit before we could actually eat it, but it was delicious. The couple we dined with had a piece of rice stuck in the prong of one of their forks so I wouldn 't call the place super clean. Don 't ask for anything 'extra ' like another tater sauce because they will charge you for it without telling you there 's a charge for it. You 'll find out when you get your bill how much 'extra ' it is. Overall the food was great but the service clean...
Fried whole belly clams are great, their tarter sauce is made in house(or at least I assume) and taste great, their slaw is also very good(not a slaw fan normally) I ate the whole thing. Lobster Mac was also amazing, the cheese is very creamy. From New Mexico so was very surprised with how good their salsa was also took a shot and ordered the flautas and expected them to suck(no offense)... they were actually very good. The shredded beef variety was a bit birria esque, meat was very well shredded, was very satisfied with my time there. Will come back when I'm up here again.
We stopped here when traveling through from Texas and the hostess was amazing. Wish she could've been our waitress because the waiter we got (Pete) made it obvious that we were an inconvenience to him. We weren't complicated patrons, but he was rude from the second he came to the table. The food was good, but he ruined our entire dinner. Sighing and rolling his eyes the entire time. We'll pass on this restaurant next time we come through. Obviously, people skills aren't his strong point, just request a different waiter if you go.
Had a party of 4 we stopped by for a quick bite appetizers only had a great view of the coastline. The complimentary Salsa and Chips were great one of the better salsas we’ve had. We ordered the Firecracker Shrimp, Crab Quesadilla, and Lobster Rangoon. Lobster Rangoon could use a little more lobster IMO, but the Firecracker shrimp and Crab quesadilla were great!! Our favorite place in Rockland! Food is excellent and tons of daily specials, John the owner chef is awesome. Heather the hostess is literally the sweetest person I’ve ever met. The bartenders are all awesome. We always sit at the bar because it has a Cheers vibe to it. Definitely Order the firecracker shrimp app and the fajitas, my go to place when I don’t want to cook. Had a great view. Ordered chips and salsa first, chips were ok but the salsa was amazing. I ordered the tostada salad, pretty good. My friend ordered the crabcake quesadillas and she loved them. Not many offerings for vegetarian/vegans... but heck stay home. Vegetarian options: Not great.
