On 27.1. we visited the small restaurant in Weisenheim in larger society (16 persons). It is located in a small valley, from the parking lot you can easily reach it via an illuminated footpath of about 60 m. The lighting is appealing, also the design in front of the restaurant. Inside it is cozy and clean. Since the place has been under new leadership for about a year, an assessment is appropriate here. Welcome and service were very friendly. The kitchen is civic, it was eaten gypsy carving, Rumpsteak, Schnitzel Wiener Art, Zurich's sprinkled, duck and small pigshaxen. The author had Zigeunerschnitzel P/S (11.80 € ), the sauce was made with fresh pepper and corn, by chili she got a slight sharpness and was delicious. The carving was good meat was perfect, not fat and not too thin, with the delicious sauce it could have been a little bigger for the price. According to the other essers: The plum Rumpsteak with onions and roast potatoes (19,80 € was also good, but did not satisfy what was expected for this price (especially because it is indicated in the outdoor map at the parking lot with 18,50 € it could have been a bit more and more beautifully dressed, it was somewhat cramped on a relatively small plate with the roast potatoes. Half the duck without bones with dumplings and red cabbage (14,80 € was tastyly prepared good sauce only the eater was amazed at how little meat is left from half a duck after bone out.
