Don't let the strip mall facade fool you inside is top of the line dining, equipped with a jazz band at the door. Excellent service, food was innovative, delicious, and a great portion size for the price, which is comparable to a fine dining restaurant. Only small con:I can say is cocktail happy hour is only at the bar which is 10 feet away from their booths they could not accommodate my guest who is 80 Years old who could sit in high top chairs as she only wanted that option from the smaller menu specials. I feel for a new patron who isn't able to enjoy that area due to disability they could have made a small sacrifice let her have the special but we made due best we could just kinda made u...

Don’t be fooled by the location of this place. It’s in a strip plaza on the main drag in Dunedin, Florida. It’s the least likely place to find gourmet dining. But, we did! We loved the food at Parlor House Bistro. The lamb lollipop appetizer was flavorful and tender. My wife had the grouper. I had the filet. My friend had the Osso Buco. All were fantastic. They come with included sides of potatoes and veggies. It was so filling, we almost skipped dessert. I’m glad we didn’t. The crepes Suzette and gelato were fantastic. The wine list quite passable. But the service was the highlight. I don’t know about all the servers, but Tabitha is one of the best I’ve had in any fine dining establishment!...

The service at the restaurant was incredibly slow. It took ages for our drink orders to be taken, and the waiter even forgot one of our drinks. After another lengthy wait, our food orders were finally taken, but it took over 60 minutes for the food to arrive. To make matters worse, they neglected to bring out our appetizer. When the food did come, one of the steak dishes was cooked incorrectly, and I felt too "exhausted" to request a correction. I ordered the duck, which was served at a lukewarm temperature. While the ingredients were of good quality, the long delays, missed items, and improper cooking really dampened the experience. We ended up spending nearly three hours at the restaurant.

My husband and I tried The Parlor House Bistro, last night for the first time. It was very good. My husband’s filet mignon was cooked exactly as he requested and he really enjoyed the sides. I had the Bouillabaisse. The seafood was excellently prepared and the broth was flavorful. There was so much that I brought 1/2 home. The deserts, oh the desserts! My crème brûlée was perfect and my husband really enjoyed the chocolate orange tart. Jesse was an experienced waiter who timed everything just right and was attentive, without hovering. This hidden gem is a great choice for a special occasion. Reserva una mesa ahora

I chose the baguette, which came with two specialty butters and one oil blend. It was very good. The filet was cooked to perfection, medium rare, and the vegetables were tender. However, I would have appreciated some mashed potatoes, or perhaps a sautéed mushroom option or gravy. The potato stack was a bit too peppery, causing me to cough. My spouse ordered the scallops with pesto pasta, which he also enjoyed. The atmosphere was lovely, with nice decor and lighting. For dessert, we had crème brûlée, which was delightful. Overall, it was an excellent dinner, and I would definitely go back!

Convenient location off of Main St in Dunedin. Plenty of parking and easy to make reservations. Very friendly staff, full bar, cute interior but I was so hot during the whole time that by the time we left, the clothes were sticking to my skin from sweating.Menu has good selection of French cuisine but the presentation lacks finesse. For example the escargot was very good but the plate was so messy like the cooks were rushing. They just throw them in the plate and fill it with the sauce with no regard for presentations. Food tasted good other than that.

Everything we ordered was exceptional, except for my entrée, the special scallops with French fry straws. They were advertised as LARGE, but they were actually medium to small in size, and the dish was overwhelmed by the fry straws. However, the lamb lollipops and charcuterie board were incredibly flavorful, and the bouillabaisse was fantastic. Overall, it’s a great place for fine dining, and despite one misstep, I can overlook it due to the overall experience.

MY FAMILY WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO A SPECIAL DINNER 6/8/23. IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. THE APPETIZERS WERE VERY SMALL EXCEPT THE FRENCH FRIES): WE WERE SERVED ONE SCALLOP WRAPPED IN BACON FOR $11 ,AND THE FOIE GRAS OFFERED TWO SMALL PIECES FOR $26. THE OSSO BUCO $47) WAS SO SALTY I COULD ONLY EAT A LITTLE. THE OTHER ENTRIES WERE OK, AND THE BANANAS FOSTER WAS GOOD. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great little restaurant with a fantastic menu. Jazz duo playing added to the cozy atmosphere. Service was outstanding. A little pricey by Dunedin standards but well worth it.
