Parwana Afghan Kitchen

Our experience at Parwana was below par. Looking at the reviews and several online blogs about this place gave us some high expectations.When we arrived and seated, it took forever to get a waiter's attention. We had to get up and walk over to a waiter to request service both times. The waiter are not observant of other customers but tunnel visioned.When we received the food, the presentation was nice with vibrant colors. We ordered the friend dumpling entree, 2 dishes of rice, 2 dishes of meat (chicken and lamb). The dumplings were really tasty and nice, but other than that the meats were too spicy. The aromas enlightened the senses on arrival. Staff sort to make sure our experience was unblemished and the food was so unusual that we slowed it down to savour every mouthful and enjoy the after-taste. Each dish was different and delicious.A fantastic experience which I highly recommend.
