Our server Raul boosted the rating I would’ve otherwise given. He noticed immediately my order was not to standard, which I otherwise wasn't quite sure of since it was my first time here. I suspected something was wrong but I didn’t have to make a thing of it, nor did I need to just keep quiet and eat it while thinking less of the overall experience/quality, because Raul was on top of it. Needless to say it was corrected and much better for it. Wine choice was good. Food was good. Not my favorite Italian food you can find in the greater Chicagoland area for the price point but I’d still recommend for a cozy date spot or small group outing. The food is great! Loved seeing fresh walleye on the menu and the whipped ricotta is a must try. Wait staff was functional but didn't offer up specials unasked or have sophisticated ideas around the menu, but, y'know, it's the suburbs so it's mostly staffed by high schoolers. It's right next to the metra so you will deal with the noise dining al fresco. They play some generic Top 40 music really loud indoors so I'd rather deal with the train noise.
