My wife and I were in town and saw this place, so we gave it a try. We ordered curb side pickup. No spots were available on the street so I ended up having to pay for city parking. We both got the Pistachio Ravioli. I also got a Small Little Gem ChoppedSalad. Salad was fantastic. Like an Italian take on a Greek salad: fetta cheese, chickpeas, olives. Wasn't a huge fan of thedressing personally but it worked and I loved it. The ravioli however ... Was rubbery, greasy, and small in size. (Seepicture). Tasted like it had been cooking for an hour or something. Taste itself was okay beyond the sensation of chewing aneraser; however my wife did not like the taste at all. My wife got chicken added...
In short I would not recommend this place. After seeing the reviews I though this place would be great, but it was anything but. The drinks are well made with good flavors. The appetizer of ricotta balls was good only because they came with sauce. The pastawas undercooked even for al dente. The gelato was great, and only saving grace for the dinner. The birthday cake dessert washorrible and uneditable. The frosting was hard and full of sugar and cake was over sweetened and seemed old. To recap the foodwas nothing special, the price was too much. Definitely not a spot that I would say one most try while in town.
Wonderful restaurant! I was in St. Louis for a few days to visit my son, and this was one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious and it has a lovely atmosphere. Great service despite the fact that it was heaving. We made a reservation and wewere glad we did, as the only empty table was saved for us. And it was a Monday. You know a place is good when it’s packedon a Monday. Also has the best tiramisu.

Our first time here and we will be back ASAP! Excellent service from Gretchen! She was amazing! Burrata was incredible. We split the aglilo de olio and the roman pizza and both were fantastic! All wine we had was top notch! Fantastic place!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
At Pastaria, there's no longer any reason to complain about their unreliable WiFi, as they had to remove it because it simply didn’t work. The menu offers a great selection that keeps guests coming back.
Stopped by this fantastic Italian spot downtown around 6:45 pm on a Wednesday. We snagged two seats at the bar right in front of the bustling chefs.
If you enjoy seeing your meal being made, you must sit at the bar and watch the chef prepare your pasta or pizza right before your eyes.

Great food! Pasta was great and so was the risotto balls. Bread was great too. All around great experience.
