José is an incredible baker, his custard tarts, once tasted are never forgotten and are the best thing I ate whilst in Portugal. It is definitely worth going out of your way to visit here, I would happily travel here from the UK just for the custard tarts. Arrive in the morning for the best chance of getting them, to avoid them having sold out. The chicken pies are also delicious and he does a wide range of impressive birthday cakes.

Really welcoming to tourists who didn't speak a word of Portuguese. And the amount of cake that you get for your money is amazing! Birthday cakes selection is great.

Been going to Charlotte bakery for years. Must go place when in the area. Everything is good. The fruit topped cream cake is our favourite.

A real treasure of a bakery in Almancil and great for everyday or special occasions. Definately worth looking out for.
