I am genuinely surprised by the number of negative reviews here. I visited last week and tried the Oreo cake, and I was blown away by how delicious it was. It was packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. While it definitely tasted like Oreos, it had a lighter texture. The icing wasn't overly thick or sweet, unlike the creamy center of an Oreo, which I found fantastic—if it were richer, it would have been too much. This cake strikes a perfect balance. My friend also picked up some rainbow cookies to take home, and we enjoyed a few on our way to the subway; they were excellent. Overall, this is a fantastic place.

It's not a sit-down bakery, but you can pick up a box of miniature pastries or some slices of cheesecake, which are absolutely yummy! Just a heads up—parking can be a bit tricky, so it's better to go with someone who can wait in the car while you run in and out. Enjoy!
Best Oreo cake ever, absolutely addicting! The chocolate cake was moist, fluffy and not to sweet. The cream was light, just right in sweetness. We would definitely return to buy the Oreo cake or to try another. Lots of choices and all the cakes were $29. Seating inside and outside the bakery, although no one was inside when we stopped by on Sunday afternoon.
Whoever thought of these recipes literally needs to go back to the drawing board. I ordered an apple tart that I later heated up and it smelled like a wet dog, was very flavorless and couldn't finish it. I also got a carrot cake and all it tasted like was the unsweetened cream cheese frosting. Go to Martha's down the street, ALWAYS worth the wait.

I had coffee and pastries this morning and was thankful to find a place where I could sit down and enjoy my treats in this Covid world. The restaurant was clean and had a great location. The coffee was good, but unfortunately, the pastry was cold and hard. I asked the server if it was fresh, and she said it was, which was a bit disappointing.

Coffee was great but the reason I went there, as in the word pasticceria, was for the baked goods, after lunch. What a let down. My cherry strudel had no, that's zero, cherries in it! Who wants to eat, much less pay good money for, just baked phyllo dough? No one...
Cupcakes were horrible. Very moldy and dry. Customer service was ok, but I'm very disappointed with the quality of the cupcakes.

The coffee here is surprisingly good! It's a challenge to find quality coffee in Forest Hills, but this place really delivers.
Thought I should support local but was a complete waste. Horrible customer service and low quality bakery items.
