This is a fantastic date night spot, quaint,low key and fantastic Italian food. Service from bar was good. My queen had a lemon drop martini which she loved. My miller lite was nice and cold from the bottle. My after beer Arnold Palmer was pretty bland but I'm not complaining. Small and cozy place to eat, even at the bar. The bread with the oil and vinegar, garlic butter and olive tapanad we're considering I don't like olives but was good to eat. My wife has a Cesar salad as well as me but the main course was great! She had a lemon chicken picatta with Angel hair that my daughter gobbled up the leftovers cold haha and I had a pesto chicken that was fantastic as well. My daughter now wants me...

This place will rival any of the best Italian places you would have ever tried. Guaranteed! The Marsala sauce is to die for! The Parmigiana is incredible too. We tried the Arancini and it paired really well with the marinara sauce! Kids loved the chicken strips it's the breaded chicken from the parmigiana). Everything was made fresh and served hot! Glad we found such an incredible place so close to the home. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. Egg plant parmigiana is amazing! Thin, crispy, and tons of flavor. Kid-friendliness: The table topper is a giant drawing sheet. Menu is well rounded too. Serves to every kid's taste.

The wait staff was friendly and provided great recommendations from the menu, always attentive to our needs. The complimentary bread was so good that we couldn't help but ask for seconds and thirds. We also appreciated that water was served upon request. A glass or two of wine would have paired beautifully with the meal. This restaurant is a hidden gem in a restaurant landscape that can often be hit or miss. Kudos to Pasto Italiano! You're outstanding in this part of the world!

I took my stepfather to this charming restaurant for a belated birthday dinner. He was craving pasta, so I discovered this wonderful spot. They offered one of my favorite dishes from Florida—the clam pasta, which was absolutely divine. My stepfather ordered the veal parmesan. I’m sure we’ll return the next time we’re in the area. Vegetarian options: There are plenty of choices for vegetarians, and the eggplant Parmigiana is incredible—crispy, thin, and full of flavor. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant provides a large drawing sheet on the table as entertainment, and the menu offers a variety of items that cater to every child's taste.

As a first-generation Italian American, I tend to be cautious about Italian restaurants, but I have to say, this is the best Italian food in Indiana, and I highly recommend it. My only complaint is the noise level, as the restaurant is quite small and tends to get crowded. Food: 5/5
