Horrible tasting food or No taste at all. We haven't been there in years, tried it yesterday, but won't go back. It was a waste of money! The only thing that tasted pretty good was the Reuben but the pastrami sandwich was dry, fatty, and didn't taste good. The rye bread in the sandwich was too small, the potato salad had no taste at all, the potato pancakes were so dried up and lumpy, there was maybe only one bite we were able to take from the center of it but it was so hard that we had trouble biting into it and we couldn't even eat it at all. We ended up throwing it out. Terrible, terrible food. We were highly disappointed.

Just think. We don't often have Deli, but if we do, we want the best and we have it today at Pastrami King in Merrick. The sandwiches were stacked over faith. The bread was amazingly fresh, the Coleslaw and Pickles simply delicious and of course the Dr. Brown?s Cel-Ray is always a favorite. Our waitress was lovely and I appreciated the way the restaurant separated the tables to keep people from sitting in this Covid environment. Couldn't have been happier?. great cudos to management in people in the kitchen.

I visit every 10 days to two weeks to grab sandwiches from Pastrami. However, during my last visit, the quality was disappointing—much worse than my previous five experiences. The sandwich was dry and unenjoyable, and the spinach knish was also terrible. I hope a manager reads this and reaches out to me. After all my visits, I believe I deserve a complimentary sandwich that meets the restaurant's usual standards.

This restaurant is fantastic! They offer potato knishes, spinach knishes, and of course, pastrami knishes—all of which are definitely worth trying. The staff are really kind people. When we realized something was missing from our order, a man came out and informed us in the parking lot. We returned, and they generously gave us a special treat for the oversight. Great place. It has Potato knish's, Spinach knish's, and of course Pastrami knish's. They are all worth a bite. They are good people. Something wasn't put in our bag, we left, and out in the parking lot a man came over from the restaurant and told us. We went back and they gave us something special for free because they did not add it. Good place to go

While the sandwiches and meats are pretty darn good, the deep fryer leaves something to be desired. Regular fries are well overdone, and they might as well take sweet potato fries off the menu. These aren't exactly fries so much as someone decided to baked a whole sweet potato and then cut it into gigantic chunks and called it a fry.

I always make sure to stop by this place whenever I'm in Merrick, Long Island. The sandwiches are packed with flavor and absolutely delicious! The owner is actively working alongside the staff, who are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. I truly love this restaurant!

I make it my business to stop here, when I visit Merrick LI. The sandwiches are overstuffed and delicious! Owner is on the floor working. Employees are super friendly and nice! Love this place!!!

I had an unusual experience at the restaurant. The matzo balls were delicious, and the pastrami was to my liking. However, the chicken liver was quite gritty.
