I recently tried a few chocolate cakes from this place. I ordered one for a 60th birthday celebration and one for myself. While I wish there had been a thicker layer of chocolate ganache, it was still delicious. The cake quality was excellent, with tasty mousses and rich ganache—just my style. If I were to have a wedding reception with cake, I would definitely choose one from here; they create beautiful, elegant cakes. I hope they get their website up and running soon so you can see all the options, but for now, you can always call to place an order.
Came for our wedding cake here. We have planned a cake tasting appointment, the options were delicious and the presentation of the tasting was very cute and romantic. The owner went personally about the design options and explained everything in detail even recommendations. I am very pleased with the result (flowers and band not included). If you want quality and simplicity with a personal and professional touch, I recommend this bakery.
They were on the preferred list of suppliers for a wedding cake for Altadena City and Country Club. We made a cake test and the Bavarian cream and the white cake was so delicious! The owner was very nice and accommodating. He ensured that the cake design was for what I wanted and was flexible to deliver the cake to the venue with a short notice of the time change. Thank you.
We had our wedding cake done by Nancy and it was by far the most amazing cake in the world! We moved, but always make it up to Altadena to get another cake any time we're in the area. Great service, wonderful people, and they truly care about you and your order. 5 years ago for a bad review must have changed something, because they are EXCELLENT now!!!
