Patapain Chateauroux

This seemed to be the only food place open around and since pastries are my weakness, it was a must try. We had the lemon tart and raspberry tart, both were very good. I was overwhelmed by the selection so I'm looking forward to making a stop here again in the future to try something chocolatey and the brioche. The girl at the counter was very kind and the ambience was modern and relaxing. Good choice for a coffee and sweet treat :

This is a chain cafe set in a pretty French town. It's kind of like a cross between a service station, MacDonalds and a French cafe. The food is definitely a step up from MacDonalds and the service is polite and friendly. What's really good is that it will be open when many other shops etc are closed. Not somewhere you would aim to go but still a far better option than Subways!

Came here for snacks since this is the nearest place to eat from our hotel. Ordered pastries and sandwich and we were not disappointed. The staff are nice and friendly. Will definitely come back if given the chance to be back here in France.

Many choices of bread, salad, sandwitches, cakes... its a very nice and tasty. So if you hungry get a bite there. Its not a restaurent. More like a multi snack.

Excellent choice and quality of food for breakfast and picnic lunch. Great value and can eat in, out or take away.
