My wife and I went in for a late dinner after a long day moving. We had a shrimp cocktail that was delicious and the best part of our meal. My wife had a burger which was fine. I ordered the filet mignon and it was way over cooked, not tender and not very flavorful. The asparagus I ordered for a side were good and we both enjoyed them. I chose not to say anything at the time about the steak as I was exhausted from moving all day and just wanted to eat and not wait for it to be replaced. We agreed if we ever go back we will order way more shrimp and skip the steak.
I made the reservation because it was too foot to the hotel. I ordered an appetizer of half doz oysters, the oysters were fresh and tasty. They only have oyster crackers, so I think that's a NYC thing. the two shrimp cocktails were good. I also ordered the ribeye steak. I always command steak med rare to ensure that it is tender. that was the brush steak I've ever eaten. totally indefinite in the low season. no salt or pfeffer etc. if I have hunger, I will eat again there, but not order the steak. I took my left steak into my room to eat later.
Love the whole vibe of the place, drinks were good, service was good, but the food was sorta bland and not that exciting. The Lamb burger was just a big burger with a slab of feta on English muffin. stark presentations. The Chicken Sandwich should delicious and was very bland. Again, just sandwich on a plate. However my oysters were delicious, fresh and the presentation was great! I wish the food was a little better.
Pleasantly surprised by this dining experience. I chose it because of proximity to the theater and a positive review that I read. All 4 of us lived our dishes. The service was top notch and the price was right. The manager gave us free dessert after chatting with us for a few min which was a bonus. It’s definitely casual but the food was terrific.

Pre theater dinner. Avocado toast with smoked salmon appetizer/ was not my thing but my dining companion enjoyed. She had the shrimp and chips an abundance of chips but shrimp was good. I had lobster cobb salad was heavy on the greens and dressing was not as good as last time. Had plenty of lobster. The happy hour wine prices were fantastic
Casual and busy restaurant near Times Square. Good for burgers and raw oysters. Everything is a la carte, so no fries with the burger. Makes the restaurant expensive for the type of food, but it is Times Square and the Theater District. Food is average. Waitress was attentive.
eating was very good and they gave generous portions. the music was loud, so it wasn't helpful for me to talk. for people who like loud music, eating and service were great. I wouldn't go back there because I like to have a conversation during dinner.
The food was excellent and the service was great! The lamb burger was very good!
