Paul's Burrito Express

Paul's is fantastic—I’ve been coming here for over ten years. Their red sauce is excellent; I’ve even bought it to take home. The menu is simple, featuring a variety of Mexican dishes alongside some Mexican-American options. The food has always been great, consistently delicious, and affordable. I highly recommend checking out Paul's and supporting local businesses instead of the new Chipotle that just opened in downtown Barrington. There are plenty of Chipotles around, but Paul’s is definitely better. So whenever I’m in Barrington, I choose Paul’s and will keep doing so. It’s a staple of the community!

Fantastic taco! Tongue was tender and the perfect amount. Ingredients in the burrito was nicely distributed.Rice and beans were average, could do without.Minus one star for the tamale. SO SO DRY. Literally the worst tamale I had in my life. Pork is tasteless, if any. My guess is that the tamale was made way in advance, and so now that it’s old and dry, reheating it made it even drier.

I’m Latina and I can say this much, the meat tasted funny and off. Not good quality at all. My man has gotten a burrito here and said it was horrible. The service was amazing good people were amazing but they need to fix that carne asada it’s lacks flavor and freshness.

I absolutely love Burrito Express! I visit once a week with my partner, and it's always a delicious experience. The service is exceptional! Tonight, I tried the supreme quesadilla, and it was crispy and full of flavor! Reserva una mesa ahora

This is the 4 out of 6 times of coming here and my order is either wrong, missing things, gives me food illness or ignoring my food allergies. Not worth the hassle!

We normally like this place but was disappointed with the tongue taco we had; it seemed the meat had been warmed from a prior time and tasted dry and not fresh.

These are the best tacos in town! Treat yourself and visit this gem – you have to try the tacos! I'm planning to return at least once a month just for them.
