It was (is? an institution in St. Moritz. Started to go to Pavarotti since some years ago, whenever I visited the region. Always appreciated the fantastic food, the crazy atmosphere that would make us forget that we are in Switzerland, but with a competent and friendly service specially from Pavarotti himself. However, the original owner became absent in the last years and things started to change. At the beginning we (myself and friends who are regular customers accepted the change as a passage of testimony and accepted the differences as a consequence of a new management. Nice ambiente in central St.. Moritz. We have been enjoying visiting the restaurant the last three years, however today's experience was rather negative. We waited close to 2hrs for the food small group of 4 people as well as in between waiting 45min for a waiter to come to our table to order a bottle of wine. In the end one person of our group stood up and kindly asked the waiter to come to our table which was located in the middle of the restaurant to accompany us choosing and ordering a bottle. Food used to be good, today unfortunately also rather disappointing, dry and made in a hurry as team understood they completely lost track of logistics…. All of this can happen, no problem! However...

an apéro at pavarotti is a must if you are in st. moritz and an unforgettable experience. a rustic, uncomplicated local with a lot of Italian touch. to that which looks similar to the real pavarotti to confuse. to order glass wein are served unrequired ugly on a wooden board - and that without a price.

a super restaurant.Don't give a menu. there are simply two dishes offered per day.The cold plate as an appetizer and the truffle spaghetti on this day were excellent.There is a huge selection of wines.Rightly homely also the vocal of the chef and the facility. you feel comfortable. that no one can German is a need for reconciliation. but the pasta are great and the wine selection is also. was a cozy evening in a cozy round.
