I recently visited a friendly and welcoming cafe with my dog, where I was greeted by a dedicated group of dog owners who frequent the place regularly to chat with Ivan and Janet, the owners. The cafe also attracts non-dog owners who come in for a meal every day. While it may not be a gourmet dining experience, they offer a variety of options including vegan choices. After covid they are opening Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday. The place was busy on this Saturday with dog lovers and their dogs and some regulars. Dogs like humans have differing characters. Some loud ,some yappy,some quiet but most always hungry. I went for a small fry...with tea at £3.95 followed by a tray bake and a fanta orange. There is always good craic. And I just missed the poor farmer who is a regular. The concept is mainly a place for dogs and owners with food basic and well priced. Hats off to owners. Do not forget to give them an extra tip for their doggy work.
While you shouldn't expect gourmet cuisine like Egon Ronay, you can expect a warm welcome at this pet-friendly café. I recently brought my new dog here and she got lost, but the staff were so helpful. I usually enjoy a cup of tea and a treat for under £5. Janet and her husband take great care of their regular customers, including "Armenbauer," and the atmosphere is friendly and lively. Give this café a try and be sure to leave a tip - highly recommended!

Been a while since I visited this dog friendly cafe. As friendly as ever and same clientele. Look out for the poor farmer a local farmer telling jokes and tales of poverty. Don't expect egon ronay or quick service. But especially if you have a dog ,expect good craic if the poor farmer is in telling jokes. Janet and hubby mingle and cook casually. I stopped by this place on a whim one afternoon while passing through Dundrum after a walk on the beach with my dog. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was fantastic. It's a great little café to bring your pets to.
Really down to earth dog friendly cafe. Fries and sandwiches and buns etc. So friendly and welcoming. Do not expect egon ronay or designer decor. But especially if you have a dog go there and give support.

The paws 4 tea cafe is a sweet cafe I had the vegetable soup and it was delicious my mum and had the bacon bap with chips and my dog got free sausages I had a nice herbal tea it was very quiet
