We were on our way to Bobcaygeon Sat. Sept 27, 2014, and stopped here for breakfast. We stopped because it looked clean and there were a lot of vehicles in the parking lot which usually means the restaurant is good. IN this case it meant because it was in a rural area, all the local people came here. We got the last table ( large group of people had several tables pushed together and stayed a long time). Soon there were people waiting to get in. the service was friendly but slow. My husband ordered his toast well done dry, and the first time it came hardly toasted at all. We were traveling by and looking for a place to stop for breakfast and gave this place a try. There was only 1 waitress in the place and we took the last table. We had a bit of a wait but when our breakfast arrived it was good. The bacon was cooked to perfection and the home fries were seasoned very nicely but under cooked. It seemed funny that there was only 1 waitress but 4 in the kitchen. We will stop by again if we are in the area.
I have dined in lots of places in different countries and this was the worst breakfast I have ever had. I ordered bacon eggs and sausage what I got was potato eggs and sausage not only did they mess up the order but the eggs were very slimy I could not eat those for fear of becoming sick.
