My last two experiences at Pearls have been nothing short of a nightmare! They sold me burnt shrimp egg foo young, and when I called to express my concerns, they gave me a really hard time before finally addressing the issue, even questioning if it was good. I told them I’m not a dog and don’t eat burnt food. Tonight, my order was largely the same, except I also ordered two TNT rolls/sushi. Everything was unpleasant except for the rolls. I’m done! I will never return.
I recently tried the J40 Shrimp Tempura Roll, and it was fantastic! The J45 Tempura Crab Cucumber Roll and the J35 California Roll were also delicious. However, the 101 Kung Pao Chicken with Peanuts was just decent; the vegetables were mostly raw and too crunchy for my taste. My kids mentioned that the chicken tasted a bit strange as well. Despite this, I've always enjoyed their food, so I'm sure I'll return.
"We ordered a few dishes that we really enjoyed at this restaurant: the pan-fried noodles with shrimp, chicken, pork, and vegetables (though the shrimp weren't very fresh), beef and pork Chao/Ho Fun (my favorite, which I haven't seen on the menu of any other Chinese takeout), tofu with vegetables, and pork fried rice. I will definitely be ordering from them again!"
The food was quite disappointing. None of my family members finished their meals. It was our first visit, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning. there was an insect in our food and the restaurant claimed they don't keep the back door open. That's not an excuse. I've ordered from Pearl numerous times with no issues. Won't order from them again.
The food at Pearl Chinese and Japanese Cuisine is consistently excellent. Their sushi rice has the perfect firm texture that I enjoy, and the rolls are always prepared expertly.
Everything was fresh and fantastic. The J40 Shrimp Tempura Roll was exceptional. The 55 Beef Lo Mein was delightful, with tender meat that really stood out.

This place is my top Chinese restaurant in Delco. They have the largest selection of Chinese and Japanese cuisine.
