My wife and I sat in for a meal at 5pm on 26/04/2023. Upon entering, the waitress was sitting at a table. She did acknowledge us but didn't bother to show us to a table, only asking if we had booked then pointing to a table by the window. Me and my boyfriend have been using this takeaway for a long time and we decided to try the restaurant. The waitress was rude enough to say “isn’t that a bit much” at what I had explained I’d like to order for us. And she proceeded to make a face at her note pad and walk away and repeat this to her co worker in Chinese. I had asked to speak to a manager about her behaviour and nothing was done and I was told it was just a mis communication and that they assured me it wasn’t meant in that way. I walked from one end of Montrose to get to this restaurant,the other Chinese food outlets were takeaways but I fancied a table When I entered the Restaurant a waitress was serving a big table she glanced at me and then walked away to do something else I stood there waiting,eventually lady approached I asked for a table she then asked me if I’d booked! We throughly enjoyed every part of our meal. We chose a set meal . The food was so fresh, beautifully presented and flavoursome . The sauce were not the standard sauces they had a real depth of flavour . By far the best Chinese meal I’ve eaten in years . The decor is dated but it’s immaculate so don’t let that put you off It’s deffo 5 A must for everyone to try

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to the holiday park in St Cyrus, although we had an issue with delivery going to the wrong place it was easily solved and the food was still piping hot. The food was sensational and the value for money was incredible! Gutted we don’t have a Chinese as good as this closer to home!
Moved locally and haven't been impressed with takeaways until tonight. Service on phone very clear and polite. Food ready when promised. Food delicious obviously freshly cooked and not using old oils! Definitely be back.

Occasionally we try another Chinese restaurant on our travels but none of the others compare to the quality of food at the Peking Palace we can never fault it

We love this restaurant and visit regularly. Always receive great service and amazing food. Try the Rainbow Beef. You wont be disappointed.
Good traditional chinese. Had mixed starter platter, king prawn tsai ting and sizzling beef fillet which hubbie said was delicious.
