Cute as, tiny and very welcoming, Penny's Cafe is a gorgeous little cafe nestled amongst shops in Applecross. I'm a little jealous of those who work near by as it's the perfect spot to pop in for a weekday lunch or brunch. Visited today with my Nanna for a quick bite to eat and we felt very at home. The interiors are stunning. Very modern and crisp. Love the coffee inspired art on the wall and the pendant lights look beautiful above the cake display and coffee counter. The menu is short and sweet, with daily specials. Nicest Cafe in Applecross. Want friendly baristas? Check. Want healthy, homemade food? Check. Want a business owner that dotes on you and makes sure that you're happy and well fed? Double check. When I go to Penny's I feel like I'm at home with my family. I'm greeted enthusiastically by the baristas, everybody took the time to learn my name after I came back a second time and if I want to talk to someone or have a meal request (within the bounds of their menu, of course) they're more than happy to go out of their way! Food, burger and coffee! One of the best Perth have to offer!!. This is the second time my wife and I visited this place for its Burgers and coffee! It's simply Just awesome! First.. let me talk about the bread! It's soft! But it's also not too soft! I can't discribe its texture with words.. You have to try it to understand what I'm talking about! Second! The steak in the burger! I don't know what they use.. But it's so juicy! And tender! I can barely find anything wrong with it.. The sauce doesn't flood the burger and its key to a good burger!! this tiny caffe, which was flicked behind a series of offices in the apfelkreuz, was one of the foundations that they just want to listen to someone who would want to be too scary and rave. the personal was nice and friendly of the moment that they walk through the door and they seemed to know the names of all who came for coffee. the coffee is roasted, but blacklist, a local brater that also sprolo, one of my favorite cafés, and with a la marzocco linea classic, the coffee is really something. but it is not just the coffee that is great, eating looks absolutely delicious. eating in the displays is made in the house and the house feels so great. the breakfast menu is small...read more
best name for a caffe; beautiful coffee, beautiful personal, beautiful caffe. but they have to find it hard to offer a point of difference. it is not much of a way around canning hwy for those of us who do the West East Common and it would be great to have a really good reason. special lunch packages to go? preorder for coffee? donuts by the banker (mmmm! or freuden by little sweet? real banh mi roll? just a few ideas.
