The service at this restaurant was excellent. I wish I could remember the waiter's name because he deserves recognition for his speed, attentiveness, and quality of service. The food was really good. We could see into the kitchen and the cook worked quickly but still maintained a high standard of food preparation. We had a bad experience at an expensive steakhouse the night before, so we were pleasantly surprised to have such a great experience at this quaint little diner. I give it five stars without hesitation!
I had a delicious hand-pattied burger cooked just how I like it. The service from the friendly waitress was excellent. I ordered the burger and fries with bacon and it was definitely worth the $13.00. The only downside was that the menu had to be accessed through a phone, which may not be convenient for everyone, especially older customers.
we have almost not sung here after reading from some of the negative reviews, but do not let them stop them from eating in pennys! the waitress was very sweet and attentive, and eating exceeded our expectations. we have burger, and the speck burger was particularly delicious! it is typical diner eating, but well done.
