I will forever give this place the best review I can come up with.The food, the family, the atmosphere, I worked here for one Summer back in 2012 and ever since I've always based all my opinions on similar restaurants from these guys' menus. Quality food, quality experience and always worth every cent. They deserve so much more than I can ever give. Thank you Chantel, Tong and Kim for giving me years of great food and laughs. You'll always hold a special and dear spot in my heart I hope you're buissness thrives and you all live happy and full lives. Truly an amazing place. Thank you for being you!
Arrived at Peony’s at 1:45pm. Asked if we were good for lunch. Woman looked from what she was doing to a clock above and said they’re getting ready to close, so we could order food to go. No smile. Website shows closing time as 2:30pm, giving us 45 minutes to dine in. We left. Business SOP needs work. If you advertise as Open for business and prefer not to be open, you should adjust hours.
I ordered takeout of Sesame chicken, and it was overcooked and difficult to chew. The hot and sour soup tasted more like plain broth. The portion of rice was really small, so I would recommend against ordering either of these items. Overall, I was very disappointed with my takeout experience today, Tuesday.
The wait for takeout was quite absurd—1 hour and 25 minutes for a chow mein and a three-piece crab rangoon. We used to love ordering from this place, but every time we call in an order, the wait times are excessively long.

Use to love to eat here but the last order I got from there was horrible!!! Ordered the House Lo Mein and the meat was over cooked badly. Too much meat not enough noodles. Don’t think I will be going back.
We came in with a very large group and no reservation. They were still happy to see us and very accommodating. Everybody enjoyed their meal, no complaints! I had the szechuan chicken and it was delicious!!
Great Chinese food and ambience, and outstanding service! Very nice to have this caliber of restaurant in Jefferson!They are busy here for a reason! We will definitely be back!
The food is amazing the rangoo needed a bit more crab but still amazing, the service was great as well. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
