I ordered a j chicken dinner with two sides for a very reasonable price of $16. The chicken was delicious and bursting with flavor. I wish it had a bit more kick, but the owner mentioned she makes it mild to cater to a wider audience, which I think is a smart business decision. She also offers various levels of sauce for those who want extra heat, and I tried one on the side—it was fantastic. Additionally, she generously offered brown sauce for my rice, which is something people often overlook. As for the sides, the rice and peas were just okay, but the brown sauce enhanced the dish nicely. I really wanted to write a review based on this particular experience I had. I came here a couple of months ago looking to only get some Patties because people’s choice only accepts cash and no card so I figured that’s all I had enough to get. The owner was so kind she insisted on giving me a meal. I guess they really are what they promote themselves to be ! The food was great, and I love to support great people !

I had this a few weeks ago and can honestly say there hasn’t been a day since that I haven’t thought about how good it was. The only thing better than the food was the owner. Plus their mission of paying it forward for those that might not be able to afford the food… *chef’s kiss* Check them out, you won’t be disappointed

Shabby dirty looking interior. Stale old rice. Burnt tasting fake j chicken. Salty cabbage. Poor unprofessional customer service. All the prices on the menu are wrong. Extremely high priced food for the quantity and the quality. Knock off Jamaican food. I wouldn't recommend. Reserva una mesa ahora

What a fantastic little gem in the city of Rochester! The authentic Caribbean cuisine is offered at an incredibly reasonable price. It felt like visiting my mom's house, where I was treated like royalty. Great job, everyone! I will definitely be returning.

Friendly atmosphere and the food is outstanding.. also, my wife and I often get the j sauce.. We use it at home on most of our dinner's.. GREAT PRODUCT!!Parking: Majority of the time, I find parking on the street, next to the restaurant

The food was extremely disappointing! Everything was overly sweet, the rice was stale, and the greens were excessively sugary. I cannot recommend this place. The prices are too high for the poor quality of the food. Reserva una mesa ahora

Every time we are in town we have to stop by to get this authentic Jamaican food....and the owner is a wonderful person who works hard to serve quality food.Food: 5/5
