"Just ordering at Pepe’s Hacienda for takeout. Haven’t had a chance to taste the food yet or what I can say so far is the atmosphere is very friendly. The restaurant is attached to a grocery store full of all kinds of great stuff to purchase, including what looks like soccer T-shirts and lanyards, and they do carry beer, the staff are very friendly and helpful and look out for you. Waiting for my take out and I’ll write back with a little update shortly about how I expected to be excellent. Also, the prices are very reasonable. I ordered a combination platter. We ordered octopus in its ink, fried mojarra, and asada and al pastor tacos with a miracle tortilla. We had to ask and wait for cutlery, more water, and for the Sauces. They should be more attentive to what the client needs, please. They gave us octopus with onions instead of red. And a thick, lukewarm, stiff white corn tortilla that breaks when folded because it is not cooked properly, instead of a miracle. They gave us a skinny mojarra with the meat only between the bone and stuck together. The meat in the tacos was watery, it seemed like it was cooked in water and not cooked in oil. And the al pastor is ground separately. We will not return.
