Pepe's Mexican - Reserva de mesa

I ordered a $20 combo and opted for chorizo as my protein for the tostada, which turned out to be quite bland. To my surprise, they charged me an additional $3.50 for choosing chorizo instead of the standard options like steak, chicken, or pork. If I had known about this extra charge, I would have gone with steak instead. Unfortunately, this information isn’t disclosed until the bill arrives, and while the staff apologized, they still charged the upcharge. Given the overall cost, we’ll look for a different Mexican restaurant next time.

WE SHOULD HAVE GOT UP AND RAN FOR THE EXITS !!! We waited almost 20 minutes for service, which turned out to be horrible. Our orders were all wrong, and all the food was bland and unseasoned. Throughout our whole meal that's all they did was apologize and give us a bunch of excuses. In the end they adjusted our bill accordingly, but I will never return to this Pepe's (In Woodridge IL) because it is absolutely disgusting. TAKE MY ADVICE... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!

Love this spot! I'm a long time customer of Pepe's, but am fairly new to this location. The service and team are aweesome. They are so kind and friendly. On busy nights, things do tend to take a bit longer, but that's not the team's fault. They do the best they can to keep up. Food is consistent with other locations, which is why I keep coming back. I did notice recently that the rice recipe changed. I really wish they would bring back the older recipe!!

Great place for a family dinner. My girls absolutely love coming here, especially to drop a coin in the fountain. Friendly and attentative service, great food. A bonified go to. Reserva una mesa ahora

Prices up Serving size down and lil things like no Cohita Cheese, Stale Chips on table ,No guacamole Chip on side and service was slow and it wasn't use at all.

I have loved Pepe's since I was a small child! It is just classic comfort food, in my opinion. This is a nice location with great service.

The atmosphere was uninviting, and the food was both terrible and overpriced. I won't be returning here.

Had chicken fajitas, a little dry. Taco salad was very good and filling. Margaritas were still good.
