Regrettably, our visit last night was our last to this location. We have always enjoyed this restaurant and the service we received. The food is consistently good and fresh. I had purchased a deal on Local Flavor for $15, valid for $30 worth of food. After our meal, we went to the front to pay, and the owner (or at least I believe he was the owner) gave us a hard time. He first misinformed me by saying we needed to spend $45, although the fine print clearly states that for takeout, you only need to spend $30. After I politely pointed this out, he then claimed we hadn’t spent $30 because we were just $0.30 short. Most restaurants in the area either round up for you or simply suggest adding so...
Unfortunately last night was our last visit to this location. We have always loved this location and the service we receive. Food is always good and fresh. I never have to wait for a table here. The food and service are excellent, and I always enjoy my visits. On July 11, I had another fantastic experience at this wonderful restaurant. This time, I tried the steak skewers with tomatoes, peppers, and onions, and they were DELICIOUS! Though it’s a bit pricier, there’s definitely enough for two people. I also started with the usual chips and salsa, which were tasty as well! On June 17, the food was just as delicious. I truly love coming to this restaurant!
Great food as always! They were extremely busy for a Monday night. I had steak taco salad and my honey had a burrito, burrito was good as always, the taco salad I was slightly disappointed because they put the hot meat on top of the salad and it was wilted. But steak was tasty and delicious. Salad was still edible, just not crisp. They ran out of flan, which has never happened before. We will return again and I'm sure they will have flan next time! The service is exceptional, particularly during lunchtime. While the building and decor are a bit outdated, I assess the food, service, and ambiance separately. We decided to give this restaurant a shot on a whim, and oh wow... it's quickly become one of our favorite dining spots! We've already been back five times in just three weeks. We haven't tried Taco Tuesday yet (it's takeout only), but we're definitely planning to! The raspberry refresher is fantastic. The food is perfectly portioned, full of flavor, and very reasonably priced!
