Peppone's - Reserva de mesa

We've just returned from our dinner at Peppone's and I wanted to give our review while it was fresh in my mind. Firstly, I can, in theory, completely envisage visiting the restaurant under certain circumstances and having a wonderful time. Unfortunately, this evening wasn't those...circumstances for us. We were greeted warmly by the chef, who, when we enquired how he was, said he was tired. Yikes, but hey, we asked! As he showed us to our table he explained that he *had* saved the best table for us as we'd reserved early, but then he'd given it away to other customers who wanted to move inside. So, we were shown to a table in the middle of the restaurant that we immediately noted was uneven....

I, my man and our two young men wanted to visit peppones when our first meal came out of that. we had long been waiting for me to take on a function of Christmas 2019 and the picky bits were delicious. we had tried to close it before! so we have the opportunity to book post covid. we have raised ourselves to a really warm welcome and were greeted by the owner, which was really nice. the waitress was also very pleasant and I must say if I was the best rating only in the service, it would be higher, as no complaining on this front in contrast to other reviews. This is the worst meal out I have ever had. Almost an hour after ordering the steak the chef came and told me he had ran out of beef and offered me pork instead (which was still charged at the full price) when this came...it was overcooked and tough. My girlfriend ordered king prawns which were bland. The food was overpriced and the restaurant was tacky. We asked for our bill to get away quickly because we had had such a crappy time and the chef stopped the whole restaurant and started a monologue about why we decant wine' when pouring a glass for another table. 5 of us visited this Saturday after reading some really good reviews about eating, atmosphere, music, vibes. it was a terrible experience, an understatement. we were there for 7 o'clock, and we were the only people in the whole night (literal). we. sat down and was served by someone who didn't even work there (they don't mean) and constantly being attacked by fertilizers all the time we were there. we gave them the advantage of the doubt and struck the fly for the rest of the evening. we ordered lobsters, 2 crabs and garnels. we asked for a humiliated and served everything seperate with the only sauce on the side holandaise and a thousand island sauce. only 1 crumb meat and was not a real cr... For those in Hampshire/Surrey way I can’t recommend this place enough for GF. My friend called in advance and when we arrived we were treated like royalty. GF beer, with a constant flow of anti pasta (bruschetta, olives, mushrooms, ratatouille, courgettes, squid, prawns, muscles, cold...cuts.. followed by GF tomato and basil penne pasta with mozzarella.... soooo delicious!!! We were made to feel so very welcome gorgeous views of the golf course with the pond including donkeys running after a heron a very random sight! We sat outside too so as night fell had lovely stars above... all round lovely place with top notch service and food, thank you!!

Visited for a birthday meal so ordered an expensive fillet steak (tornado rossini) which was overcooked, dry and chewy. When I complained the chef came out saying that I had ordered a medium cooked steak as though that was some sort of excuse. He also...said that other people were eating fillet steak and had not complained which made me feel embarrassed but offered an alternative dish. Nothing I suggested was available so I ended up with swordfish which was just as bad so we just paid the bill and left. The menu is very extensive and impressive but the experience is disappointing and their attitude is insulting!

This restaurant review is a difficult one for me. I can't say the food was excellent, but I also can't say it was bad. It was just okay. The fillet steak was overcooked and I was considering asking for a new one, but the chef was already dealing with another table that was complaining. He shouted over to us asking if our steaks were okay, so we felt a bit embarrassed and just said yes. We didn't want to cause a scene. The style of cooking at this restaurant is definitely old-fashioned and traditional. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think I'll be going back again.

We have visited Peppone multiple times and always enjoyed it. However, during this visit, we were disappointed to find that the menu had been reduced without any prior notice on the website. Additionally, there was a lack of social distancing monitoring which resulted in children running around and women chatting in the restrooms while people were waiting to come in. Despite the excellent food, these issues overshadowed our dining experience. I hope that these issues are addressed soon or else they may start losing customers. Reserva una mesa ahora

We went to Peppone's for dinner yesterday and I highly recommend this restaurant. We started with a fresh seafood platter, followed by lobster and filet steak. The food here outshines many other seafood restaurants in the Surrey area. For dessert, we had homemade tiramisu, which was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming.

The food choice and presentation was excellent. We had a great family experience. Staff pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
