My friend and I spontaneously entered the restaurant after a leisurely stroll along the esplanade. We were looking for some light bites and champagne. The location was ideal, just off the esplanade path, and the staff at the hotel entrance and restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ultimately decided to have a full lunch and opted to sit in the gorgeous garden. It felt like a peaceful oasis in the midst of a busy area, complete with a small fountain, lovely lights, and comfortable seating. Went to the Peregrine since it was near my apartment and my friend was visiting. It's in the hotel lobby of the Whitney Hotel. Looked online and saw some good reviews, menu was small but decent, so we decided to check it out. The food was alright, but we were expecting better quality for the price (we ordered two pasta dishes).They brought my friend the wrong dish then spent 15 minutes correcting it. We were in a rush didn't check the bill closely, but it ended up being $111, $130 with tip for two supposedly $30 pasta dishes and a $14 glass of wine. Seems like we were overcharged. Overall wasn't a great experience, worth it to check out the other restaurants in the area instead.
Fabulous service from bartender and waitstaff. Handsome hotel decor. Very casual vibe. Not a scene at all just hotel guests hanging out relaxing. Outdoor area welcoming. Food was fantastic and they had generous portions. Garlic shrimp, bruschetta and potatoes as app was so good it could have been my main course. The Bolognese was mouth watering and enough for two people. But best to have left overs rather than share: Highly recommend their Vesper martini as well.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Peregrine! The restaurant is quite small it's essentially right in the lobby of the hotel, so it doesn't quite have the exclusive feeling that other hotel restaurants have. Beautifully decorated, though, and the food and service was wonderful! The prix menu was a deal and the team were kind enough to give us a small treat to help us celebrate as well. Would recommend!

Overly priced for what we got, it’s hardly a restaurant it’s more so an extension of the lobby. The staff was rude and they didn’t have half the items on their menu, very long wait times. Food was pretty good but took forever to be delivered and the quantity left a lot to be desired. Who serves breakfast/brunch without breakfast potatoes?
A couple misses on the food burnt cake (why did they serve it? and a flavorless pasta, but the rest of the items were very good. Staff was kind. Very quiet there were only a couple of other guests.
Enjoyed the restaurant ambience. Went for Boston Dine Out lunch. Service was ok. Wait help is very nice but seems new and little inexperienced. Would go again and try outdoors if cool enough.
Fabulous meal and excellent service! We closed down the place talking and ordering more amazing cocktails! Can't wait to come back!

Lovel;y menu and the food was perfectly prepared. Sitting outside made it a very romantic atmosphere, The service was great.
The whole team is amazing! Definitely recommend the place.
