Perfect Pollo Peruvian Tex-mex

I visited this restaurant on October 29, 2023, with my family, and we had a party of 12. Unfortunately, the restaurant struggled to meet our needs. We tried our best to be understanding, but two people in our group were not served until 1.5 hours after we arrived. To make matters worse, another party that came in after us received their food before those two, and they were about to leave when our party was finally served. We asked to speak with a manager, but none was available. I will NEVER eat here again. They clearly dropped the ball and showed little willingness to accommodate us. I would rate this restaurant a 0.

It’s okay. The chicken was very good and the portions were in line with prices but the sides really turned me off. Mostly it was the macaroni and cheese; it had no flavor, the noodles were mushy and it was a bit gritty. Maybe it was sitting for a while but it just wasn’t good. I also had the rice and beans and it was okay, certainly better than the Mac-n-cheese. If you’re looking for just chicken, I would recommend it. Just choose your sides carefully. Parking: The front of the store has a few spots but they’re right off the street and you must be careful backing out. There is more parking in the back though.

Chicken was delicious. Large sides are $5 and not a large portion. Green beans were blah and a mixture of previously cooked and freshly cooked beans (light and dark green in color). Corn also nothing to write home about. Sweet fried plantain and yuca were good. Alfarores seemed to be prepackaged and didn't have much taste. Other Peruvian Chicken locations will be my go to when ordering sides. Parking: You pull into parking from Rt. 2. Not very easy to get out when there is traffic.

I highly recommend the best wings I've ever tasted. My coworker and I tried two different flavors: Barbecue and Garlic Parmesan. I was blown away by both the flavor and the size of the wings—they're far better than anywhere else I've been. You absolutely need to give them a try!
