The food was excellent and portions were generous. The service was attentive, with cheerful and friendly servers. The ambiance was decent, but it's not a traditional sit-down restaurant; the seating area is very close to the ordering counter and the entrance. It's a small place that can get busy. Since the food is prepared to order, you should expect to wait a bit after placing your order. This was my only drawback; while I truly appreciate that the food is made fresh, the wait was a little longer than I anticipated. However, the quality of the service and the food made it worthwhile. I will definitely return!

Nice place with very good food. Huge portions too! Small restaurant with seating right at the counter and the entrance. Food is cooked to order so expect to wait for the food once you place your order. Service was attentive and polite. While I appreciated my food being cooked to order, the seemingly long wait was almost an issue for me. But the food and service will bring me back anyway! Service: Dine in

They changed the portions without notice. The chicken sandwiches always had two pieces of chicken. Now the pictures still show two pieces but they only put one. We ordered multiple sandwiches and they were all like that. Other peri peri in the area are still serving it properly. Portegee Chicken is the best among all chicken restaurants! I dined in for dinner and found the prices to be very reasonable at around $10–20 per person. The food was outstanding, receiving a perfect score of 5, and the service was equally excellent, also a 5. The atmosphere was fantastic, earning another 5. Highly recommended!
