I love this particular Perkins restaurant. It 's a landmark of France Ave and 494. This Perkins is a modern, well-run, well-managed restaurant. It 's large, with multiple rooms and nicer decor than most of the other dated Perkins in the Twin Cities area. Staff is experienced and efficient. Very polite, and willing/able to make small changes to my order for example, instead of 3 pancakes, I asked for 2 french toasts, which she provided to me! . Location is good, as it 's on the frontage road to 494, and just off of France. Parking is sometimes nearly full when I arrive at peak times around lunch/dinner. I always find one spot, though. Food is standard Perkins fare, but it does arrive well-cooked and made to the order I ask over easy eggs are just that, for example . Staff is attentive and helpful, as I say above. Cost is very reasonable, most meals being under $15. I appreciate the updated look and feel to this Perkins, the location, the cleanliness of the restaurant overall, and the value of the food served. All in all, this Perkins is well worth my 5-star rating!
I give it 3 stars because I liked the food and its a convenient location. Me and my dad went on a Friday night around 5pm, got seated rather quickly but the service wasn?t the best? Waiter didn?t check on us at all, I get that it was getting busy but he didn?t even ask us how our meal was. So that was a bit disappointing.
Clean place. came here for breakfast while visiting the area. The staff was nice food cooked 100% right. This place has perfectly nailed the over simple eggs and I was happy!! The food here was not broken down into fat, either as familiar with many diners serving breakfast. If I'm sick again, we'll be back.
A local jewel. Next to a house cooked meal for miles. The cakes are their speciality a must after every meal. I went late at night, so she wasn't a din for lack of personnel. Ordered the cookie sausage with Gravy up, land fired potatoes and eggs. Then it cut off with a piece of banana cream pipe.
