Best meal we have had in weeks travelling around UK and Scotland. The daily special, Scottish roast beef, was topped with a typical gravy that did not taste like everyone else's jarred gravy. The vegetables on the side were very good quality and tasty. Our other main was equally delicious as were the desserts. Our server was delightful. Pleasantly surprised by this pkace. Stopped for Saturday lunch expecting a sandwich but had very nice Scampi and Venison Pie as main course. Apple pie for desert. All very tasty and reasonable size portions. Great friendly and efficient service. There is a large shop aimed at tourists with all the usual Scots goods.
