The concept is quite similar to Chipotle, but they offer a wider selection of meats, including blackened fish. The decor has a nice hiker vibe with an outdoorsy feel. There are three different salsas available in bottles on the tables for us to use as condiments. Please note that chips are not complimentary, but the serving basket is generous. We ordered burritos, which were large and delicious. We really love this place!

Highlands Burritos offers a wonderful atmosphere along with amazing food and drinks. Unfortunately, since my visit almost two years ago, they’ve faced staffing challenges and had to close temporarily. It’s quite disappointing, and I truly hope they reopen soon, as their menu and overall experience make this spot truly special in Highlands!
My wife and I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. Whenever we’re in Highlands, we make it a point to stop by. I always arrange our visit to make sure we arrive when they're open, since they close at 3:00 PM and are closed on Sundays.

Fresh food, reasonable prices, authentic flavors. Highly recommend when visiting Highlands it was our best meal there! The various sauces were very good. Shrimp taco portion was generous. Hoping to be back soon!

The food was just average. I ordered a taco salad, but it was lacking in flavor and excitement. The rice and beans were also pretty bland, and the chicken tortilla soup was no better. I expected more.
