Pete Miller's Seafood and Prime Steak - Evanston

We rate based on food, service and ambiance. The ambiance was good, the entertainment was great. Our waiter basically ignored us, we had asked for steak knives and didn’t get them, while tables around us did without asking. There was too much time in between courses. The steaks were very dry and not warm enough when we received them and we had to wait at least five minutes for steak knives, as I said before. We were disappointed. There are quite a few good restaurants in Evanston. We will not be returning to Pete Miller’s.

The service at this restaurant is excellent! I have been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and this place has the best service. It is very professional. The food is also amazing. I recently dined there on Friday and I am going back again tonight to have the dry aged Kansas City strip.....again. I appreciate that each steak comes with a side, which is a rare find in a steakhouse of this quality.

My burumundi was delicious. Two others in our party had ribs also excellent, slide off the bone delicious. Service was great. The jazz quartet was very good. The music added to our enjoyment while still allowing quiet conversation. We’re going to come more often.

We and our friends enjoyed the Jazz Music and the Lobster/Steak special. I had a salad and the other three had the soup. Everyone enjoyed their meals/music/drinks and the friendly waiter and the manager. Will be go again??? You bet!

Excellent Lobster Bisque. Reliable for a good Ribeye, tender, juicy and great flavor. Romantic spot with live music.
