We should have booked as very popular. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They let us have a drink outside in the car it was raining and my mother was frail) They then called us when a table was free. The roast was delicious, we did not leave a morsel as so tasty. I come here every time in in Dartmoor and it never disappoints.

We have visited a couple of times in October and November. A lovely warm welcome and really great food. Super family meal this weekend. They had run out of pork so I had duck. It was delicious. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Being gluten and garlic intolerant, I was totally impressed by the way the restaurant went out of its way to accommodate. A special dish was prepared for me which was superb. What a wonderful evening! No one leaves here hungry!

The food was just alright, but in my opinion, it was much better last year during the Christmas meal. The young waitstaff were very friendly, however, the older female staff member was not as pleasant. Reserva una mesa ahora

Just enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch here with friends. Everything delicious and service very smooth, even though they were very busy. Best Xmas pudding I have ever tasted! Thank you Chris and Jo.

One of the waitresses seemed unhappy, but the others were friendly. The food was disappointing for a Christmas roast. Despite this, my family and I enjoyed the positive atmosphere.

The restaurant offers an excellent vegan menu in addition to their regular menu. The dessert was outstanding. The pub is charming and located on the outskirts of the Moors.
