Peterchens Mondfahrt

This is a wonderful restaurant with a friendly staff, but the English of the staff when we visited was limited, but there is an English menu available to show! Great food and beer available (and I also suspect wine, but we are stuck with...its beers (dark and pils and they were excellent). Regional specialities are brilliant. The views over the airfield are entertaining and the walls are decorated with historically interesting photographs of the water doll in the 1920s and 1930s.

The food here is exceptional with excellent regional dishes. There is only an English menu and staff when we visited, had little English, but very friendly and helpful. Over three days we consumed a variety of their offers and were all fantastic. The views over the mountain are excellent and the photos on the walls around the restaurant are excellent, historically important and fascinating. Breakfast is also excellent with local offers and traditional continental offers.

The menu was quite limited, but some regional specialties included. The service was slow, but not painful. The food was also okay, neither unforgettable good nor bad. Peterchen embodies all the mistakes and advantages of a chain restaurant.

We shared quiche and salad which was served with style and two sets of cutlery. Delicious also the hot chocolate and beer. Service was cheerful and the view wonderful.
