My sister wouldn’t let her kids touch things that are meant to be sanitary, and if they did, she would just correct them. It’s not a big deal; kids will be kids. A simple apology would go a long way, especially regarding the ketchup bottle left on the floor. I would have picked it up and cleaned it for the next customer. But really, it’s not worth making a fuss over. All kids visit places like this, after all.
This is a fantastic spot that feels like home the moment you walk through the door. The staff treats you like family, and the owner is one of the kindest people I've ever met. They are very generous with their spices, making every dish even more delicious.
The service was quick and personable. I had a BLT. The lettuce and tomato were sooo fresh i thought they picked it before putting it on my sandwich. The holiday decor was also very nice! Definitely glad I have Petes nearby :

Whenever I'm in Patchogue and I have the time, I always stop by there to eat. Great food, and the people who work there are always friendly.
My favorite spot for breakfast! The food is fantastic – always served hot and incredibly tasty. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable.
