This review describes a disappointing dining experience. Despite arriving punctually at 1 o'clock, the restaurant removed crab from the menu without notice. The service was lacking, often nonexistent, leaving me to pour my own drinks. The waitstaff seemed absent, and the steak was overcooked, served lukewarm. Furthermore, the bill was incorrect, and when we approached the manager, “Pia,” to discuss the issues, she insisted on charging us an unexpected and excessive service fee. Waiter was Ciro who was excellent. The red mullet main course was the best main course I have had for ages, and the chocolate dessert was great. Overall the best food experience I have had for months.
The location is fantastic, the staff are attentive and helpful, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing with very efficient service.
