I recently discovered the must-visit spot in Darling City, Exeter: Pete's Place. This small restaurant is one you might easily pass by, but don’t make that mistake! I've eaten there several times now and my go-to order is the tuna melt (since I don’t eat red meat). It’s always consistently delicious. The addition of onions and other toppings truly hits the right notes for my taste buds. If I did eat meat, there are plenty of other items I would be eager to try. The service is quick and friendly, and the food tastes incredibly fresh. I didn’t give it a full five stars because the interior doesn’t quite match that level, but hopefully they'll improve that once Covid is over.
