First class. Food and service were superb. Truly accomplished and delicious dishes. My friend, who doesn’t really care much for food, declared the honey parfait dessert to be the best thing he’d ever eaten. I had the rhubarb soufflé, the presentation of which is hilariously risqué! The rack of Dover sole was exquisite. Lots of little treats too. The sommelier was really good even though we weren’t splashing out on wine on this occasion. Her dirty dry martinis were excellent. Overall, a five-star experience. Ambience-wise, it was a bit quiet on Saturday lunch; and it is undeniably expensive. No doubt a causal connection between those two minor quibbles.
