We frequent this restaurant more or less once every other month and always leave the place with great satisfaction. Although the location might look hard to reach it's actually quite central in terms of pure distance whichever direction you are coming from, Walchwil, Zugerberg or Aegeri valley, takes 20-25 minutes to reach through the very scenic little roads. Once you had your food, I'd recommend taking a walk in the clearly marked hiking/walking paths around. Great joy especially when the weather is good. This restaurant is open for breakfast through dinner for most days and serves typically Swiss food, very nicely done. But the highlight for us is always the breakfast, serves the tastebud...
Very crowded on a nice Sunday. The fact that those who are lazy can drive their boxes to the restaurant also helps. The service was top notch considering the store was busy and the rösti, for which I didn't have to wait forever, tasted excellent.
Great service, very kids friendly (also have high chairs). Reservation for a table on the terrace very efficient via email, got a reply within the hour. Has a playground with 2 trampolines as well. Beautiful walking area on top
Ausgezeichnet, super Service mit gutem Humor, sehr feine Tagessuppe, grosszügige Fleischplatte, wunderbare Aussicht, sehr empfehlenswert.
