Pfalzer Hof - Reservar una mesa

Being hard-core Elvis fans, visiting Bad Nauheim while in Berlin is a must. So we did. Again.The last time we were in Bad Nauheim we found Pfalzer Hof it was one of those in which Elvis ate when he lived here. There is a really cool photo collage just inside the door which incorporates a handwritten letter signed by the King himself in January 1959. Owing to my wife's superb memory and tracking skills, we found it again. We both had a really good sausage plate which includes sauerkraut and potatoes. Highly recommend.

This place is frequented by locals for just drinks or for hearthy traditional food, “deftiges” as the German say. Friendly and swift service, within 10 minutes our orders were delivered. Unless you are very hungry no need to order starters, the main courses are rather large, and when you’re still hungry after the main course there are always the desserts. Priced very reasonably, fine traditional food and friendly service, what more do you want!

We ate there two nights in a row. First night was the 400g steak for 12e. A bargain now days compared to U.S. beef prices. Second night was schnitzel and fries for 6e. Service was good and the food was excellent.
