The pepper bag shows how rustic medieval gastronomy looks in the best sense without mutating to the experience gastronomy. Located near the cathedral in the beautiful Freiberger Altstadt, the rooms in the really old house make a rustic but not a cheesy impression. Although the staff wears an old-century staff clothing, it does not exaggerate to the Middle Ages. The map is in old German writing, which may be difficult today, and here and there is something stalked. The amount of food offered is pleasant (but nothing for vegans/vegetarians). Defendable, meaty cuisine is offered here. And it can be seen and tasted. The honeycock in quinces sauce with rosemary apples is a poem that was served half the beautifully glazed chicken in a pan with a sharp knife that was put in. That's what happened. Even most other guests we celebrated the silver wedding of my parents were very satisfied. Also note: here there are various varieties of the good Messner Schwerdter beer, which you will not get anywhere else in Freiberg. The free-seat, where live music is always played, is very idyllic.
